The late SAT registration deadline is November 22nd for the 12/3/16 SAT is not offered at MHS, but you can choose another location. One good thing about SAT is… that they do not charge for a late fee if you are using a fee waiver. See Ms. Madrid for SAT fee waivers if you qualify for free or reduced lunch. Students who qualify for this also receive free college application fee waivers. See Ms. Madrid.

Awards Night will be Tuesday, December 6th at 6pm. Those that qualify will be notified soon.

Teachers and students progress reports will be distributed on Friday during SP.

Juniors and Seniors are welcome to join in ACT/SAT study groups with Mr. Gunnare Tues at 7am for SAT Wednesday at 7am for ACT.

Football boys will be playing at home this Friday against St. Michaels. There will be no passes at the door. $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.

In honor of the quarter-final state playoff football game this Friday we are having a WHITE OUT!!! Wear your white to support our boys!!!

MHS Drama Club is putting on Arsenic and Old Lace, a classic comedy, from Wednesday, November 30 through Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door, $4 for students. Come support MHS Drama!

Horizons store is open for business. If you need a snack, water, greeting card, gift or just shopping for yourself come in and see what we have. Items are handmade and unique

Seniors!
This Friday, November 18th is the late registration deadline for the next ACT test on December 10th at MHS. However, you would need to register and pay the late registration fee online!!! This is critical if you still need to send your scores for most college application deadlines and scholarships. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, an ACT fee waiver could be used to register, but you would have to pay the late fee yourself. See Ms. Madrid. She also has college application fee waivers if you are receiving free or reduced lunch. There are practice tests in the Counseling hallway if you need to drop by and pick one up. C'mon Pinto Seniors!!! Get this done!

And finally....
Don't forget to buy your yearbook. Yearbooks are currently $46, this is the cheapest price of the year. Get 'em before the price increases. Pick up an order form at the front office or Ms. Shirley's. Thank you.
