Student Flu Vaccine Clinic

The MHS Health Office will be offering the flu vaccine to our high school students this year for the first time. It will be through the SKIIP (School Kids Influenza Immunization Program). The clinic will be held on November 6th.  Most students, except for those with specific health concerns, will be receiving the flu mist vaccine (nasal spray) NOT the injection should the students ask. Permission forms are available in the health office and must be returned to the health office no later than Nov 4. Unless the student is 18 and can sign for themselves, the flu vaccine form MUST be filled out and signed by parents prior to vaccine administration. If we do not have a parent signature on the vaccine permission form- the students will not be given the vaccine. Any questions please feel free to contact Velvet Lipke or the Cathy Lucero in the health office.  Thank you.
